Becky Elger Hernandez
Becky is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has been in practice for over 23 years. Becky believes that building a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship is key to creating a place to explore and address issues and concerns. Becky uses a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy with mindfulness to foster coping skills to help individuals explore and understand how our interpersonal relationships affect our past and present and the impact it has on our lives. Becky works to assist with improving individual's quality of life by identifying ways to better cope and manage so you can be the happiest and healthiest you.
Becky's goal is to make a safe and comfortable space for you to address your mental health concerns free of judgement and criticism. Becky's therapeutic approach incorporates several major theories of therapy, including: Trauma Informed Care, Solution-Focused, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Client Centered, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing.
Education:
Becky received her Bachelors of Social Work at the University of Wyoming and her Master of Social Work at Walla Walla University.
