Cynthia Flores

Professional Counselor Associate

Cynthia is a Professional Counselor Associate in the state of Oregon. She is bilingual, and holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology and obtained her Master's as a School Counselor. Cynthia believes that each of us is unique and utilizes an integrative approach that will help each person reach their full potential. Cynthia uses Cognitive Behavioral techniques (reframing negative thoughts) alongside Reality/Choice techniques (developing a plan of action based on choices) to assist clients in coping with events and discovering their self-worth and value in life. "Sometimes people need to feel valued and appreciated. They want to know if you understand where they're coming from and where they are going. Even though we come to a stop, the world around us keeps going, but how we handle the situation makes a difference. Our choices lead us to who we will become. Be the one to make a difference. You Are Not Alone." ~Cynthia
