Teresa Jansen
LPC, NCC, ACS
I view healing through an attachment and biopsychosocial lens, recognizing that many intersecting areas of life—biological, psychological, and social/relational—all impact overall wellness. I am trained and certified in EMDR and have additional training in IFS, Lifespan Integration II (LI), Addiction, Pain Management, and Spiritual Trauma. I use an intersectional, attachment-based, and strength-focused approach, drawing from a variety of individualized interventions to help my clients reach their goals. After experiencing my own healing from severe depression, trauma, and social anxiety, I pursued and completed my Master’s in Counseling and became a Licensed Professional Counselor. I consider it a privilege to work with every client. My experience includes working with men, women, and nonbinary individuals; members of the LGBTQIA+ community; adolescents; people in recovery; and survivors of domestic violence. I support clients addressing addiction, anxiety, career goals, depression, PTSD, parenting, trauma, peak performance, pain management, and relationship concerns. I also facilitate a group for individuals healing from spiritual trauma.
