Shayna is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Oregon who has had experience with diverse populations. She currently holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and works with people who experience a variety of emotional and behavioral challenges that include depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, addiction, and more. Her treatment approach varies because she believes in tailoring treatment to meet the needs of the individual. The foundation of her approach is derived from trauma informed and person-centered, family systems, and attachment theories. She emphasizes the importance of an open and productive therapeutic alliance, in which genuine interactions can provide opportunities for growth and insight. Shayna strives to create a warm and non-judgmental environment for clients to reflect on and expand the stories of their lives.
